Scissor Lift in Jeddah: How Coastal Humidity Affects Your Choice

Jeddah’s coastal humidity differs from the dry climate of inland cities, a factor worth considering when renting a scissor lift for a long project, especially at sites near the sea.

Indoor work vs. outdoor work

For work inside Corniche hotels and commercial complexes, a 6 or 8 meter electric model is enough and suits polished indoor floors. For outdoor work near the coast, diesel models better withstand humidity and repeated use.

Regular maintenance matters more in coastal air

Humidity raises the importance of regularly inspecting lifting systems before every delivery. We commit to a full technical check on every unit before it reaches your site in Jeddah.

Choosing the right size

Shop and showroom ceilings are typically 6 to 12 meters, while warehouses near Jeddah Islamic Port need larger sizes up to 18 meters.
